Åbackens people's park has been closed for six years, but now it is again to life. Unfortunately it is a bit easier said than done when the renovation is far from finished the day before the inauguration. The callous lady owner Eivor Stark puts all the responsibility on his awkward assistant Richard. More problems will be when the somewhat unassuming man Torsten shows up and claims to be rightful owner of the park. And how are the graduates photographer Harald? Will he ever his picture on the superannuated German opera star Brunhild Müller, who will do anything to avoid taking tons? Then one may ask what Conny Cash doing there? Has not he a lunchtime to fit, in prison? Or is there a hidden mug prey in the park? An orgy of intricacies and madness, everything collected in 1985 at Åbackens dance.

The action takes place around the Ingeborg's cafe. The councilor Leif Aronsson has planned a trip to Denmark, but it must be set after he had a brief discussion on money fiddling with Ingeborg. He suspects that one will discover he has taken money from the city budget in their own pocket.

Just like in the film, the musical's immersive story begins with a death notice that becomes the starting point for Fanny Zander's search for her roots. Together with their faithful, extravagant companion Zac, they leave the nightclub life of Berlin to make their way home to the small village of Yxared, located deep in the forests of Västgoth. Their grand entrance into the small community becomes a culture clash that stirs up emotions among the villagers but also creates new, lifelong bonds.

The brothers Ingemar and Gustav are enemies and have split the business in two. Gustav runs a chainsaw repair shop and Ingemar still runs his motel business and has hired the impossible carpenter Lufsen and Virena. Ingemar has now organized a singles party, but it all seems to be going down the drain as there are only two people registered, mother and son Bengtsson, but are they really mother and son? Is the "hungry pensioner" Hans-Rutger Vällingstråhle really just looking for lunch, or is he also looking for a woman?

The year is 1961, and Ruben and Gunhild Olsson have decided to go on vacation to Denmark. The only problem is that Ruben has squandered all their money on "crazy" deals. The miserable and lazy farmer Nils-Erik likes it that his wife Matilda rules and dictates, but cannot come to terms with the fact that she constantly falls for the flattery of their neighbor Valdemar. Their son Lennart has inherited the mother's touchiness and the father's laziness and feels like a failure. Then Nils-Erik gets an idea! But is it wise to involve the local postman Dag-Otto in his plans?

I trawl the whole of cardom to bring you seven great cars and truffle the undergrowth looking for seven automotive disasters. The good ones - the Ferraris, the Porches and the Aston Martins are driven to within an inch of their lives on the track. Some are even handed over to the Stig who makes a guest appearance. The bad ones are killed. Sawn in half. Hung, drawn and quartered. They're hammered and blown to pieces with dynamite and their skeletons left in the open to rot. Bosse, a kind-hearted, naive burglar, is looking for a valuable statue owned by the rich but unexciting couple Berit and Evald. The thief encounters a patrol when Jerker unexpectedly shows up. He is a committed and inquisitive insurance man who has been called in by Evald to value the statue. This complicates things, of course. It doesn't make matters any better when the curious, newly moved-in pensioner couple Adam and Eva Persson run in and out of the house while waiting for their furniture to arrive, which of course creates maximum confusion.

At Vallarna, 15 years were celebrated with a real bush detective story by Krister Classon. The performance, with our biggest audience favorites, broke all previous audience records.
