Dir. Stefano Calvagna’s third feature is inspired by the real events in the life of Luciano Liboni, aka "The Wolf." A freewheeling interpretation of the character, here renamed Franco Scattoni (Massimo Bonetti), the film highlights the ups and downs of a rough and violent man, whose behavior borders on madness and is worsened by epilepsy. Il Lupo feels he has nothing to loose. Diving headfirst into a life of crime, he ends up killing a gas station attendant in Perugia in 2002. He then kills a young "carabiniere," and becomes a wanted fugitive. A case study in human behavior’s violent patterns framed as a psychological thriller and police story, this controversial film has been praised for the uncompromising realism of its disturbing narrative.

Two different criminal gangs are fighting each other. Not even the police seem to be able to stop the conflict in a Christmas Rome surrounded by drug dealing, corruption, violence and arrogance.

Stefano is caught with a bag of cocaine in his pocket and placed under house arrest. Yet the boy knows full well that he has never used drugs. There is someone who wants to frame him, but there are also drug traffickers on his trail, convinced that Stefano has made a load of white powder disappear.

Saverio Sallesi, a past as a boxer without too much success, is grappling with a difficult situation. Some small precedents with the law, he has to deal with unemployment and failed loans from banks. Even from a sentimental point of view, things are not going well and he is unable to build a serious relationship with any of the women he frequents. One day he robs a bank and during the escape decides to hide in the apartment of Micol, a prostitute.

Franco Califano, fallen and resurrected several times, begins his third life after the years of drugs and prison, of a youth lived to the last breath, appearing at Sanremo just to come in last in the rankings. But his third life as an artist has just begun, and it takes place during the sold-out concerts organized by his unconventional manager who, instead of choosing high-end venues, sets dates in dance halls and trattorias frequented by the people who love him. Around Franco, his lifelong friends, who have common names, far from show business, and who support and encourage him, look after him while the blows of age and a wild life begin to be felt, while his legend, destined to last, continues to grow.

Stefano Calvagna, after being the subject of an attempted murder on 17 February 2009 outside a theater in San Saba in Rome, was arrested by the police and taken to the Regina Coeli prison with various charges against him, including that of having organized the fake, attempted crime. A personal journey that pushes Calvagna to try to understand the reasons why he found himself in that uncomfortable situation.

He, realizing the situation, tries to remedy it by staying as much as possible on the tracks of a correct student/teacher relationship. Laura, feeling rejected, takes revenge.

They are joined by their friends Ambra, Valerio, Matteo and Clelia, with whom they go to the largest multiplex in their city, a place at the center of several sinister urban legends. When, at the end of the film, the group decides to spend the night inside the cinema to make fun of the maniacal and ambiguous guard, the six will find themselves grappling with a macabre secret.
