The Albanian people mourn the death of Stalin.
Mar 1953
Albania and neighboring Yugoslavia officially broke ties in 1948. But in 1971, the Hoxha regime was honored to welcome the ethnic Albanian actor Bekim Fehmiu (1936-2010), at the time an international star in Yugoslav theater and film. Before his trip to Albania, Fehmiu had appeared in the popular Italian television smash The Odyssey (1968) and the Cannes-winning I Even Met Happy Gypsies (1967). Dokufest will also feature a photo exhibit of recently-discovered still images taken during Bekim Fehmiu’s Albanian visit.

Someone falsifies the lab data regarding the quality of imported goods. This results in the contract with a foreign company eing broken. The suspect is a specialist who handles the contracts. With these acts, saboteurs are trying to spread doubt and insecurity.

Asim, one of the sons of an old engine driver, has gone astray: he does not like to work and is not happy with the modest place he has in life; he even reproaches his father for not having "profited more from life" and for having failed" to secure a cozy future for his children". His other son, Kujtim, is a modest worker.

In the crew of the ship "Eagle" the debate about the zones of fish hunting continues. Petrit, a new marine officer, supports captain Borak, who insists on introducing new fishing methods.

World War II. Italian fascists have interned in the South a lot of people who fought them on the 7th of April 1939 when they came to Albania. Among them, there's an old man whom they call "Daja" (uncle), who fought along with the youth.
Jul 1981
The year is 1943. At his last breath, partisan Gani asks his friends to make sure that his daughter Sherka is married on the date set in advance for her wedding. Once the wedding ceremony starts, they find out that the bridegroom is a collaborator of the invaders. Sherka decides to cancel her wedding and joins her father s friends in their struggle for the liberation of the country.
