The life of Rayenari changes when the poet Antonin Artaud arrives to his village seeking the spiritual knowledge of the Tarahumara. Rayenari introduces him to the Peyote ceremony. However, the poet abandons the ritual and loses his soul. Sometime later, Rayenari discovers through dreams that Artaud has been committed to a mental hospital. It will be through this connection that Rayenari will help his friend to recover what he lost.

Seven-year-old Vera lives in the big city but adores spending the holidays in her grandparent’s town and particularly in their deserted tobacco barn. Nieves, a teenager native from there whose father forces her to help out at the family’s land, can’t avoid but feeling caged. The two girls, driven by the sense of adventure and the need to find oneself respectively, will be connected to a magical creature that will change the way they see their own reality.

An intimate documentary that reveals the daily life, life and love of Colombian women. Without men around, this film tells the life stories of four sisters during their vacations on a family farm. A feminist film full of humor where the mother and aunts are the central axis of the work. A work that reveals independent and modern women, women of dignity, integrity and true to themselves.
