April 25 Film Studio

In the 1950s a female war veteran and army nurse, Ra Myong Hui, expose the plot of the anti-party, counter-revolutionary factionalists despite threats to her life. The film is based on a real story that happened in 1950s in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

The film was produced by the Korean April 25 Film Studio and is a sequel to 2022’s One Day and One Night about an attempt to kill North Korean founding leader Kim Il Sung. Set in the 1990s after Kim Il Sung’s death, “Days and Nights of Confrontation” centres on the character Kim Song Jae, a prosecutor who is investigating a murder case with his team.

The daily life of explosive disposal crews and the process of performing their duties, set during the bomb removal project that preceded the land reclamation project in North Korea.
