Krishnakumar, who pursues a career as a percussionist and teaches the mridangam, joins an engineering college in Kochi city. When Anjana, a fellow student, falls in love with him, his life takes a turn as her fiancé, Sudhi, attacks him out of jealousy.

Kocherukkan and Malli, two youths, elope in order to get married. However, when Malli gets murdered, Kocherukkan sets out to avenge her death but instead finds himself falling into a trap.
