In the suburbs of a northern Chinese city undergoing urbanization, a quirky girl who wants to see animals in the zoo is taken for a ride that will forever change her perspective on life.

In a post revolution Cairo, after numerous failed trials to escape the status quo of her generation’s depression, Nour, a 29 young woman, secretly arranges fleeing her homeland. Hours before her departure, She embarks on a journey of struggle with a patriarchal society and a fight within to keep her hidden secret.

A few teen and youthful protesters in Iran, after being arrested by the governing regime, are offered forced labor in lieu of imprisonment. They go on a terrifying mission in the dark of night.
