After a court order sends him to work at a hospice, an ex-criminal strikes up a friendship with a compassionate priest who changes his life.

Remek Wróbel is a mailman and an enthusiastic member of an amateur football team. He’s pushing on forty, living the life of a bachelor. One day, everything changes – his neat, tidy life is turned upside down by the appearance of Grandpa, whom he hadn’t met before, and his new chatty neighbour, Marzenka.

Warsaw, Poland. Kamil, a street rapper who spends his time going from party to party, begins a love affair with Iwona, a wealthy married woman.

One day Grandpa Jeremi causes such a commotion in the retirement home that he is threatened with transfer to a psychiatric hospital. Marta, his daughter, agrees to take him in, although this is difficult for her, since Jeremi is unpredictable and has a vivid imagination. The situation is complicated by Jagoda, Marta’s daughter, who adores her grandfather and shares his crazy ideas. When Jeremi refuses to live with the family, Jagoda decides to take matters into her own hands. The girl and grandfather embark on an adventurous journey to the legendary ship Light of the Sea.

Hania, an eleven-year-old girl, who believes in pixies, becomes the object of ridicule. In order to save the fantasy world she created with her recently deceased mother, she must prove to everyone that the fairy-tale creatures really exist. Together with Michał, a school outsider, they meet Sindri, a pixie living in the nearby forest, who promises to help them. An adventure full of twists and turns begins, during which Hania learns the power of friendship, the negative effects of lies, and finally comes to terms with the loss of her mother.
