In the depths of the Colombian jungle, the skeleton of an immense abandoned cement bridge is tucked away. It has turned into a delusional tourist attraction.

Lissette's favorite aunt Adriana, who lives in Australia, is arrested in 2007 while visiting her family in Chile and accused of having worked for dictator Pinochet's notorious secret police, the DINA, and of having participated in the commission of state crimes. When Adriana denies these accusations, Lissette begins to investigate her story in order to film a documentary about her.

Ricardo, Natalia's father, suffers from Parkinson's disease; in that condition he stopped producing Dopamine. Surviving a very strong family crisis, Natalia told them her sexual orientation. She does not understand why after being left-wing militants and fighting for equality and freedom, they could not accept her choice.

After the death of her husband, a grieving elderly woman is enlisted by a coterie of gossipy elderly women in her neighborhood to plan and create custom funerals – offering seniors a chance to plan in advance how they want their funerals to be presented, and how they want their lives to be celebrated.

After a call announcing the visit of a church delegate to San Luis de Frá, a town as ordinary as it is absurd, Jose María Marín, the parish priest in charge, knows that the time has come to be responsible. He and his old sacristan will have to find a corpse and inaugurate the cemetery at any cost.

Amparo, a submissive young woman, tries to escape from her strict convent school but falls into the hands of “El Animal,” a violent and abusive man who forces her to become his wife. Trapped by fear and constant mistreatment, she clings to her love for her daughter and her hope for a better life. However, her strength and dignity may not be enough to stand against the cruelty of the ruthless Animal.

A turtle lives peacefully at the bottom of the sea, until an apparatus accident forces him to fight to survive and undergo the physical and environmental changes that human unconsciousness has produced.

Alvaro Rodriguez, an old swindler, owes a lot of money to a dangerous moneylender. To pay off the debt, he proposes to the man, who is also his boss, to finance one of his businesses. In the end, the 'indigenous malice' wins out and he ends up cheating his boss.

Harassment, kidnapping, isolation, submission, hunger, humiliation, infidelity, psychological manipulation and incest are some of the themes that are the focus of this documentary based on true stories and the work of natural actors who suffered abuse and are marked by abandonment. Oscar lives with his grandparents in a humble country house that has been left in the middle of a large hydroelectric project. It is the last day to vacate their house and his grandparents, faced with the pain and uncertainty of leaving the land where they were born, prefer to end up under it.
