Don Donato and company go on a trip to Cinecittà World theme park, where Luna and Luigi have decided to spend their honeymoon. These are also important days for Gina, since she's now expecting, while Angelo, as always, is ready to look for new ways to earn easy money. Everything seems to be going well, but it's just wishful thinking.

Nello and Rufetto are two second-rate robbers, both in their forties and living in a suburban neighborhood of Rome. After serving four years in prison for a botched robbery, resuming their business, and more importantly, successfully completing it, is no easy feat.

In Pellizzano the town is in turmoil. There will be a casting for a horror film by director Rocco Siffredi and many are aspiring for 15 minutes of fame.

Fausto and Furio are two Romans with a precarious lifestyle. Fausto squanders his winnings while Furio lives thanks to small jobs. The death of their parents will make them meet because they inherit a repair shop. After some hesitation, the two, helped by an engineer with a mysterious past, will take the business over, but they will have to face a mafia boss who wants 200,000 euros, a debt matured by their fathers. The two will try to find a solution through clandestine races, drug trafficking, truck hijackings and the shared love for a fascinating bartender.

As the Christmas holidays approach, Don Donato, now a cardinal, is called back from Rome to assist his uncle the bishop. The latter, in fact, requires constant care.

Don Donato accompanies his congregation of villagers to visit Roma World, a theme park set in ancient Rome. Meanwhile, however, preparations for Luna and Luigi's wedding are interrupted by the arrival of the bishop's twin brother, Angelo, who is desperately searching for a hidden inheritance consisting of twelve gold bars. Don Donato joins the treasure hunt, taking advantage of the bishop's absence, who is away in Rome on a mission.

While preparations for the wedding between Luna and Luigi are in full swing, Angelo, the bishop's twin brother, unexpectedly drops into the rectory with the intention of recovering an inheritance that he has not yet pocketed: 12 gold bars.

Don Donato is ready to reveal to everyone that he is not a real priest in order to return to Cesira and be a father to Junior. However, his uncle hinders him in every way for fear that such a scandal will make him lose the opportunity to become a cardinal.

After the news of the death of Don Dino, who was transferred to Trentino, Donato leaves to attend the funeral. When he arrives at his destination, he discovers that he has been appointed his deputy in the parish.

Donato, a scoundrel music manager, to escape the two henchmen of a boss who, due to his inefficiency, has caused him to lose a lot of money, taking advantage of a letter from his uncle the bishop, introduces himself to the parish priest of a village church, Don Dino, dressed as a priest, and pretends to have been sent there by the bishop as assistant parish priest. Don Dino's church is always empty. In fact, the town's faithful frequent the new church, run by Don Gabriele, a pimp priest who knows how to deal with people. Donato's arrival initially seems like the final blow for Don Dino's church: Donato doesn't know where to start a mass, he has never confessed or married anyone, the mere idea of ​​performing an extreme unction scares him. Don Dino begins to argue with Donato: he seems anything but a priest. But little by little, Don Donato's extravagant ways, his open-mindedness as a "sinner", his mentality as a rock priest, begin to attract the faithful.

After six months spent meditating in the high mountains, Don Donato returns to Pellizzano to pack his bags and leave for Rome, where he will return to wearing civilian clothes. However, he finds the country much changed, full of arcades and women of easy virtue.
