Ratna is married off into a rich family and leads a happy existence with her husband. But the doings of a relative and her husband's tragic death push her down a road full of trials and tribulations.

Prasad and Nayan are happy to be with each other and also choose a separate house, but Prasad's uncle wants his sister Suman to get married first. Prasad decides to postpone his wedding and sacrifice his house by dropping his plans and uses the money for Suman's wedding.
