Amir, a young Iranian, signs on with a fisherman on the rugged Caspian Sea coast in order to earn the money he needs to marry his sweetheart, Narges. But in so doing, he becomes entangled in the criminal machinations of caviar poaching. Piece by piece, a complex hierarchy is revealed in a parallel realm that becomes ever more constricting and oppressive, endangering Amir’s relationship with Narges as well.

Tehran 2022. While Behzad is obsessed with his neighbor’s private life and is trying to force a chance meeting with his ex-girlfriend, his wife Sima is secretly looking for an apartment for her and their teenage daughter Minoo. In the meantime, Minoo starts a flirt with Keyvan at a traffic light and casually takes the initiative.

"Mother married a photo of Father," says director Firouzeh Khosrovani in the opening of this deeply personal documentary. She's not speaking metaphorically though. Her mother Tayi literally married a portrait of Hossein in Teheran -he was in Switzerland studying radiology and was unable to travel back to his homeland for the wedding. The event illustrates the abyss that still exists in their marriage: Hossein is a secular progressive and Tayi a devout, traditional Muslim.

Before dawn, seven passengers are making their way from Shahdad to Kerman on a side road. When one of the passengers is discovered dead, they haven't traveled very far. Instead of finding an ID, an address, or a phone when they search the dead man's body, they discover a lot of cash under his vest.

Mahi and Pouya are on a trip with friends. In the morning, they find with the dead bodies of their friends by carbon monoxide poisoning, and find out that they're the reason for their deaths.

Lonely dying man hopes that someone will step in so that he can tell his final words.
