Based on Nina's final monologue from the play "The Seagull" by Anton Chekhov, this short film explores the relationship between a young actress with her job, her boyfriend, with the text and, especially, with herself. What really matters when we are acting? Or in a relationship? Or in the way we perceive ourselves?

In a familiar yet uncertain winter forest, an ancient being awakens. The creatures succumb to it's call and are turned into hulks of the same mindless bone. When all are one what happens to those left behind?

The physical journey of the mind. A spirit travels into the forest to deliver a candle. They encounter surreal adversaries who will try to keep them in the dark and steal their light. Returning back to the house they started in.

Join Eric and Lyn, a pair of armchairs who discuss the politics around Britain today. As this country is going through a real shift at the moment –what better time is there to record the thoughts of two elderly British people, to highlight this, than now?
