Animated film about two young boys, Bolek and Lolek, who seek to fulfill the last will of Phileas Fogg who decided that his inheritor would be the one who made an identical round the world journey as he had done, using the means of transport generally in use in the nineteenth century. An ordinary man was usually the protagonist of Kijowicz's philosophical short films. The situations presented in the films were rather general, they were supposed to provide food for thought.

Animated adaptation of Adam Mickiewicz's ballad entitled Mrs. Twardowska, made on the hundredth anniversary of the poet's death (1855). Jan Marcin Szancer, an outstanding graphic designer and book illustrator, was the author of the script and the art concept. He was a person present in the Polish film industry since the interwar years. The main animator of Mrs. Twardowska was Witold Giersz, the future master of animation. Nicolaus Copernicus, the son of a Toruń merchant, is a bright and curious child. When he is ten years old, the Dutch astrologer Paul van de Volder predicts a great future for him, which develops in the boy an interest in the stars. Paul van de Volder reappears in Nikolai's life when he is already a student at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. A battle for the student's soul begins between the charlatan astrologer and Wojciech of Brudzew and other university professors. Astrology fights with astronomy. From the doubts and questions that hound Nicholas, a discovery is born that will change the world.

The titular magic lantern is simple projection apparatus, invented several hundred years ago. In the animation, it appears as an object symbolizing the power of eyes and behind the scenes crimes.

A swarm of slaves in ancient Egypt moves massive boulders to erect a statue of Re, the god of the sun. Erecting impressive structures required knowledge and exact measurements. However, the statue's massive hand falls down and crushes the builders. The statue has been awe-inspiring for many centuries. Meditations on the religious nature of man.

A heavy smoker finds different ways to smoke all the time: while sleeping, in the shower, while shaving. People around the protagonist smoke too. His wife is the only exception. She talks about his health, wallet, and smell.

At sunrise, a peasant begins plowing. This iconographic motif becomes a caricature in the animation. The problem is that the peasant gropes, he plows through the legs of a resting peasant woman, railway tracks, a dining carriage, double bedrooms, office corridors, palace interiors, and meetings of diplomats. His march through the country is shown on TV. The peasant is really surprised to see a TV set in the rump of a horse. He crosses a crowded beach and disappears in the depths of the water together with the setting sun.

A man is a guest of the EDEN Hotel. He can enjoy its luxuries with no limits, except for one room. The room becomes the most interesting place for the man. The animators illustrate the biblical story with a beautiful cutout and a philosophical commentary. The film was made in the cut-out technique. Its background is based on the style of old engravings and contemporary graphics.

Based on a romantic knightly ballad. The story takes place in the world of insects. The Blue Knight sets off on a long journey with his squire to free the sister of the Butterfly Queen. After many adventures, he reaches the castle where the princess is imprisoned. The Blue Knight defeats the cruel suitor-kidnapper and sets off on the return journey with the princess. The brave hero is in love with the beautiful princess, but she chooses Count Zawisak, whom she met on the way. To make matters worse, the vengeful knight Jelonek wounds the Blue Knight in a duel. Fortunately, at the court of the Queen of Butterflies, the kind Ant rescues the wounded hero, who, as he recovers, notices the beauty and kindness of the Ant, who is in love with him.
