Mili is a motivational film about Mili, an introvert girl who is very depressed. But she finds it in herself to think of her nadir as but a stepping stone to success. She chooses to rise above the challenges and take back the reins of her life.

Vijay's marriage is fixed to Pavitra, the daughter of a wealthy man. Things take a turn when Vijay accidentally meets Merin and falls in love with her.

Three strangers - Vishnu, Louis, Pappan - who are jailed due to various reasons become friends at the jail. Then they feel that their lost life is being regenerated. Once out of jail all three hope to lead a better life.

At once tranquil and bracing, Tu Neill and Jim Speers’ film is a portrait of a seaside town and its vanishing way of life. Though it is now slowly emptying, Ayukawa was once a thriving coastal community, its success based on a practice rooted in tradition, custom, and ceremony: whaling. Through the voices of local elders, the film conveys how that form of hunting developed into the lifeblood of the town before cultural changes, international condemnation, and strict regulation brought it to the brink of non-existence.
