The village of Salla, population 150, with its own school, ploughed fields and well-maintained homes. This place reflects the culture of the rural folk of Estonia and their everyday activities.

We don't have high mountains or dark valleys, so the forest has become a safe haven from invaders, diseases or other people. For many, the forest is a source of income, for others something like a sanctuary or rather a clinic. Twice in history it has supported the national currency. The most diverse people think about the forest in this film; their perceptions are opposite, but for everyone the forest is something very important.

More than 300 years ago, a church reform was carried out in Russia, and those who resisted it have been persecuted for centuries. People who call themselves Old Believers saved themselves from destruction and violence by fleeing to the outskirts of the country. Some of them ended up on the west bank of Peipus. Next to the Estonians, they have endured everything that has happened to our country, all while still preserving their faith, unique culture and way of life. For three centuries they have been ready for the coming end of the world. Each day has been lived as if the next one might not arrive.

Documentary about Peeter Simm and the difficulties of creating a feature film. The Estonian weather and the unfamiliar working style of famous German actors seriously tested the abilities of director Peeter Simm when the Estonian-German feature film “Fed Up!” was filmed in the spring of 2005.

In the film, Ada is talked about by her friends and companions, as well as Ada herself. The camera accompanies Ada in many different situations. Memories reach the viewer through photographic and film materials of past times.
