Before My Eyes

The clash of youthful rebellion with a conservative environment. Agata arrives in a small town near Krakow. Her job is to cook for the oasis participants. Agata’s arrival causes perturbations in the three-generation family – seventeen-year-old Mirek falls in love with her, his mother, an organist at the local church, discovers the demons of the past, and his grandfather, already suffering from dementia, sees Agata as his lover from his youth.

Marek wakes up in the belly of a whale, where he meets his deceased loved ones.

'Fragments' - a collection of loosely connected scenes, depicting a breakdown of a relationship and a collapse of the world to which the main female character is desperately clinging on to. Anna and her partner have well-paid jobs, intense sex and go jogging every other morning. They live comfortable yet monotonous bourgeois life. That makes Anna slowly fall apart.

The inhabitants of the village of Tichilesti in eastern Romania live far away from civilization, in the quiet among dogs and cats that roam the streets. However, this tranquillity portends death as Tichilesti was where lepers were sent years ago.
