Raj Malhotra lives with his mother, and comes from a very wealthy family. He meets Priya Bhatia, who works with a real estate agency, and instantly falls in love with her.

The film CHAMPION is a tale about a man who has a quest, a dream to be the best of the best. The film centres on four main characters, namely Rajveer Singh (Sunny Deol), a simpleton from a village in Punjab, whose sole dream in life is to become a super-cop and wipe off all crime. After, training, he gets his first posting at Mumbai for a special assignment. Bubbling with enthusiasm, an arrival, he is shocked to find that his job is to protect a nine-year-old boy, Abbas Khan (Abhishek Sharma). A bodyguard, after all the rigorous training to eliminate hardcore criminals! Abbas is the sole heir to millions of riches left to him by his parents, who have expired in a drastic plane crash.

Based in a small village, Gauri, who lives with her widowed mother, Ganga, has matured and her marriage is arranged with Bombay-based Ramesh. When Ramesh comes to wed her, he is shocked to find her playing Kabaddi and wrestling with her younger brother, Dhanu. He attempts to get intimate with her but fails. Hoping that things will change for the better after the marriage, he does marry her, but she is unable to reciprocate his affections. Shortly thereafter, her life will undergo many changes after she witnesses her husband in the arms of a more mature, taller, drop-dead gorgeous, and well endowed village belle, Bijli.
