Best known for his 8,000-mile walk for peace, former monk, activist, author and educator Satish Kumar has been inspiring global change for nearly 70 years. Between his home in the south of England and an experience of returning to India, the film portrays his impressive journey, presenting a collection of vivid demonstrations of what can be accomplished when our presence in the world is filled with the powers of simplicity, collaboration and love.

In order to recreate a picture taken in 1974, during the inauguration of São Paulo subway, Pedro meets two school friends he had not seen for 40 years. If their existential crises, ageing and (astray) ways were not enough, Pedro announces, to everyone's surprise, he intends to take his own life — even though not before he sees his soccer team win a championship.

Mwanito has lived for eight years in a remote place, surrounded by raw nature. The only people he knows are his father, his brother, an uncle and a servant. They tell him that the world out there is dead and they are waiting for an apology from God.

“From Love no one Escapes” is a documentary that portrays the interior of a Brazilian prison where a humanized system of incarceration, known as APAC, allows the absence of prison guards and weapons. After becoming volunteers in the prison and residing for more than a month under the semi-open regime, the documentarists recorded the daily life behind bars, inviting prisoners and employees of APAC to open their hearts and share their stories and perceptions about life. The documentary is mostly composed by informal conversations that portray different aspects of the lives of incarcerated individuals, such as spirituality, family life, work, music and the desire for freedom.
