Synopsis: A rabbit couple tries to survive in a dying forest...

A deep dark stop motion tale by Frederick Tremblay

A young office worker in the heart of an unnamed North American megacity takes us through a few fleeting days in her life.

In a white space where children are naively having fun, a large black spot extends. Quietly, it swallowed up the toys scattered on the ground and little by little, held the children in its abyss. Only a young boy refuses to go down there, knowing very well that no one escapes their destiny.

In 2019 and 2020, Geneviève Thibault and Francis Desharnais co-directed their “Mentorat” laboratory. Their performance, titled Les dernières volontés de Pinocchio, recounts the final moments of the little wooden man, even as his penchant for playing pranks remains undiminished. A blue-haired nurse enters his room, accompanied by a young intern. Since the nurse is unable to care for the old man today, the intern will take over, and Pinocchio sees this as a wonderful opportunity to play a few pranks… Music and sound effects: Frédéric Lebrasseur
