A director returns to the town he was born to record the movie theaters that are disappearing. The town is no longer the same. He projects images on the walls of the houses, giving life to those dead spaces. Time absorbs both the history of the town and the director’s family. His father is no longer there and neither are films.

In 1958, Robert Gottlieb was forced to renounce his Romanian citizenship in order to migrate to Israel. 50 years later, his daughter Yaela (re)builds that route but her father’s story does not match the places she knew. Two filmmaker friends reconnect through the stories of their abortions. They embark on a journey between Buenos Aires and northern Italy, driven by the need to overcome trauma. This trip brings them closer to other women, each with their own stories and experiences, but these stories encounter their own limitation: that of not being able to represent an experience. The adventure that began as a search for intimacy becomes a starting point for the imagination.
