A little girl living in a slum area is restless as the never-ending rain is stopping her burning desire to wear her brand new shoes. She will call upon the old traditional way to stop the unstoppable rain.

An interpretation by the filmmakers of a dark chapter in Indonesia's history—the women's movement (GERWANI). Between late 1965 and mid-1966, its members were subjected to mass arrests, rape, imprisonment without trial, and even execution.
