The film shows footage of two friends who disappeared without a trace in a forest in the Sauerland region.

Michael and Jan want to go to a party, but David, who also wants to go, is late. After a phone call, it becomes clear that he was still in the forest looking for his lost wallet. But then the cell phone connection breaks down and Michael and Jan set out to search for David. The beginning of a nightmare.
