The artistic practice of Nil Yalter, Turkey's first video artist and recipient of the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement, centers on migration, labour, and the female body. The documentary examines her interdisciplinary journey from video art in the 1970s to new media through the boundaries of the concept of the "technical image." Drawing on Yalter's anthropological approach, the film explores the profound relationship between her life and artistic practice, bringing together archival material and newly filmed footage to offer a fresh perspective on her body of work.
