A group of high school boys attempt to create a movie during the summer before college starts and before they go their separate ways.

A young man is convinced to go to a church in an attempt to come to terms with his father's recent death. Upon arriving, he is surprised by a familiar face and they converse about life, death, and lousy parenting.
