As part of an unusual farewell ritual, two siblings end up at a Chinese restaurant. Both feel guilty after the recent death of their mother and find it difficult to broach the subject. At another table a father improves his daughter’s homework, at the next a date goes wrong, and somewhere in between, the server’s collar bursts. Though the tables are close together, the siblings hardly notice the little dramas taking place.

Three trans women meet in a country house to plan a robbery. The trick of the heist is that, in order to create a false trail, they disguise themselves as men. While they share everyday life as a well-established team and lovers, they practice speaking in a deep voice, walking manly and behaving in a masculine manner. In this process, they reach their emotional and physical limits and repeatedly fail to imitate male connoted behavior.

This film questions not only the rules of the swimming pool, but also of gender norms and social conventions. As well, it explores the feeling that emerges when one has managed to overcome one’s shame.
