The main character was a standout high school student and graduated university at the highest level. When he reached his 30-s he has found himself a failure: his wife left him for a successful boxer, he got fired from a misearable job, and a morgage that he had to keep up paying off for years ahead. The main character looks a lot younger than he is, he even gets asked if he is of age when buying alcholol. He gets rid of his beard, fakes his DOB in ID and decides to take a chance in the competition assured that expirience can take over youth.
