A computer hacker penetrates Vatican security and sends an urgent anonymous plea to the pope. Handsome Father Quart, of the church's Institute of External Affairs, an arm of the Vatican intelligence, is dispatched to investigate. The message of the hacker concerns a crumbling 17th century Baroque church in the heart of Seville that apparently "kills to defend itself".

Eladio, hunting estate keeper, takes a bribe from a veteran hunter. Weeks later, his whole life falls apart. What looked like the opportunity of a lifetime, turns into a macabre descent to hell when he finds out that his misfortune might not be entirely by chance.

Seville, 1968. Honorio, Rafa, and Vicente are about to turn 20 and dream of escaping their routine. Armed with the necessary excuses and a loaded Seat 600, they embark on a journey that will challenge everything they thought they knew until then.

Paula (Luna Fulgencio) is a girl who plays for a girls' soccer team in a small town in Seville. One day she asks her father, Luis (Antonio Pagudo), to bring her famous Betis player Joaquín as a visitor, as a reward for her and her teammates, whom Luis presumes to be her great friends.
