French Basque Country, year 1609. The men of a small fishing village have gone to sea. Judge Rostegui, who has been charged by the king with ridding the country of the devil's wiles, arrests Ana and her friends and accuses them of witchcraft.

Deep in the heart of Patagonia, four women survive in the hardest conditions. They give birth at home, bring up their children alone, build their house themselves. To keep faith, they hang on their last hope : each of them creates her own religion. At night, they gather together and sing around the sacred fire.

A group of mercenaries working for a government agency called SWAN, taking orders from their leader, Alisha, invade a building. They are looking for a scientist who is being held hostage by a paramilitary organization named Farah.
