A man wants to flee wartime Germany and the detested Nazis to Colombia, where his brother lives. In order to achieve his goal he agrees to become an informer for the Reich.

Ángel Romero, a child separated from his mother after the earthquake in Mexico City, believes that the only way to reunite with her is to contact the pope. To achieve this, he embarks on a journey to Colombia, where he will rely on the help of an unemployed woman and other unexpected allies.
