After being gone for eleven years, a burnt out hardcore vocalist returns to his small, New Jersey hometown, in the wake of his father's death during the holidays.

Burdened by the mistakes of his past, David, travels the East Coast with his ex, Lindsey, handing out apology letters. As the trip progresses, they both try to figure each other out, and realize there are many unresolved issues between them.
