After the death of her husband, a mother decides to fulfill his last wish and runs the marathon in relays with her daughters. The fusion of close-ups and totals, of orchestral numbers recorded like clips, of meta-scapes shining through from the theatrical space, of the puppet and actor work in the performance, has resulted in an unusual youth television puppet show applied to the optics of the camera.
