An entrepreneur from Caserta becomes entangled with the underworld and ends up exposing himself because of his relationship with Alba, the youngest daughter of a gangster. Carmine, a sewer worker for the city of Naples, finds himself working in the vault of the Bank of Naples one morning, and he gets the idea to pull off a robbery using the sewer system. To pull off the heist, he enlists the help of Gaetano, a former robber with several years in prison; the depressed Peppe "'o' Sciomen," a legend of the Spanish Quarter and also a former prisoner for robbery; the boxer Ruocco, a former professional who ended up fighting in clandestine matches; and Striano, a photographer and robber. After completing the robbery, however, Gaetano disappears without a trace with the million-dollar loot, leaving his accomplices locked in their lair, hoping to see him reappear. As time passes, strong tensions build between the four, bringing out old misunderstandings and fracturing alliances, until a new threat looms on the horizon: the powerful boss Jannone demands a share of the loot they don't yet have.

Based on actual events, this is the story of a young woman who meets the terrorist who murdered her father, a policeman, who died when she was just born.

Nunzio and Paolo have always been friends but their partnership has only produced a series of failed businesses financed by their wives, who are now threatening to throw them out of the house. The two seek redemption by opening a vegetarian restaurant until, to please a food critic on whom their destinies depend, they find themselves faced with the need to transform the place into a steakhouse. Convinced vegetarians, Nunzio and Paolo have no intention of actually cooking animals. Can vegetable steaks be passed off as real meat? It's the beginning of a spiral of hilarious events.

In a wonderful hotel on the seashore, preparations are underway for the wedding of Eleonora who will get married in the afternoon to Fabrizio, known as El Tigre. Each of the excited bridesmaids – Vanessa, Linda and Akiko (pregnant with Billo) – gives the bride an accessory to make her outfit more chic. Instead Polina, her mother, gives her a box of jewels: “they belonged to your poor father. The only thing we have left of him." Eleonora is stunned to see that inside her there is not a jewel as she expected but three teeth, a 'relic' of her father who was killed years earlier in an attack. And since then Polina has asked her to fulfill her father's wish to be buried in Gorizia, in a small cemetery on the border between Italy and Slovenia.
