On a mission to get God's attention in hopes that God will heal his sister from terminal cancer, a young boy begins answering the prayers left by church members in the pastor's prayer box after the pastor throws them away, jaded by his own suffering.

Fleeing an abusive relationship, Jessica is reunited with her estranged foster father, "Chap", a rough-around-the-edges rancher. With the help of a handsome neighbor, the group learns to trust again and discovers that there is hope and healing at the manger.

As three fathers fight to save their families, their lives become interwined in an unlikely journey across the globe, where they learn the healing power of forgiveness and reconciliation.
