In the summer of 1939, 13-year-old Marie goes with her parents to visit her grandparents in a small town near Avignon. Marie discovers her femininity and falls for a young Jewish doctor, but he prefers Eva, Marie's mother.

Mueller is a young and unsuccessful actor who has one big problem. He does not have time. He does not have time for his little daughter Elina and he does not have time for Petra who actually just wanted to make an interview with his room-mate Willy. Mueller is busy, always busy in every kind of situation. All his problems seemed to be solved when he realizes that Willy has invented a time-machine. Everything could be fine now, if just Mueller had listened better to Willy's warnings about the rules of time travelling.

The negative physical and psychological effects of anabolic steroids, growth hormones, and masking agents are examined in this European drama which focuses upon the conflict felt by a young runner whose fear of failure exceeds her fear of the drugs. Catherine Delaunay, a 25-year old runner, has just be named French champion after the real winner is disqualified for using drugs. When she suffers a small injury herself she begins using the drugs at the insistence of her German trainer and an unethical sports doctor. Catherine becomes hooked upon her regimen of medication and begins to suffer physical and mental side-effects. To conceal her drug use, Catherine keeps a large supply of "clean" urine. When she really does become drug free, her times suffer. A federation official strongly suggests she get pregnant as they hormones produced by early pregnancy will help her speed.

In a town in Connetticut in 1906, newspaper publisher Miller has problems with his sixteen-year-old son Richard, who reads Wilde, Shaw, Swinburne and Ibsen. In this film, Dammbeck explores his own decision to relocate to Hamburg, West Germany, and tries to sort out his past as an artist. In the process, he interviews artists Cornelia Schleime, Hans-Hendrik Grimmling, and Hans Scheib, who had been core members of the alternative art scene in East Germany. They had all worked together in the 8mm scene and organized or planned multimedia and crossover exhibitions, including Tangents I in 1976-77 and the First Leipzig Autumn Salon in 1984. Each left for West Germany in the mid-1980s. What has become of their former artistic strategies and positions? How do they deal with their past? What is the force behind their art now? And how do they cope with the western art market?
