1947 ... The Savchenko family returns to Moscow from evacuation - husband and wife with Kostya's little son. They settle with Grandma Kostya in a huge communal apartment. Street meets the boy with a flock of local boys. Then there were: the division of the territory with the "Sretensky"; trophy movie “Girl of my dreams”; a school with separate education, camp discipline and essays about the border guard Karatsyup. And the monetary reform of 1947, when all of their savings depreciated in an instant, and the boys let out boats from banknotes in puddles.

After yet another failed attempt at producing gold, the alchemist Sir Lavoie, leaves the capital to seek the advice of a colleague in another city. His house is left to his three servants: the maid Doll, the footman Face and the lackey Satl. They decide to get rich by posing as alchemists and helping people solve their problems, even though they understand nothing of alchemy.

A married man needs a lot of money and he is trying to get them form a huge bet on horse-riding.

This is a story about how difficult it is to be yourself in a world of rules and responsibilities, especially if you are a king. And this "game by the rules" does not allow two kings to say simple kind words to each other
