Bhavna Aaj-O-Kal

Farhaz, a top chef from Bangladesh, and Basundhara, a middle-class Indian woman who runs a home catering service, come together as they share a common passion—food.

In the neon-lit streets of Kolkata, a woman searching for redemption crosses paths with a mysterious bar singer whose past remains hidden. Over the course of a restless day, their lives intertwine with strangers carrying their own conflicts and secrets, until a buried truth changes everything.

In Puratawn, Ritika and Rajeev visit her ancestral house in Konnagar (in West Bengal’s Hooghly district) to attend her mother's 80th birthday celebration, only to discover her mother's deteriorating mental state, forcing Ritika to confront this difficult reality and its permanence.

Rekha is a Bengali feature film directed by Anup Das, produced under the banner of Bhavna Aaj O Kal. The film is based on real-life inspirations and a true story, and features an ensemble cast including Rituparna Sengupta, Mamata Shankar, Riya Sen, Shayan Munshi, and Ishan Mazumder.
