Anyone who enjoys listening to fairy tales also knows that the wisdom contained in them can help change our world a little for the better. How? Well, by teaching us to be quiet and listen to the inner voice of the events that surround us, they teach us to discover the inner beauty of things and people. And anyone who can do this can never again maliciously destroy beauty and happiness, as the nine envious maidens in the fairy tale did.

Set in a small-town hospital, the film tells the story of the great suffering of a small rascal, nicknamed “Lies and Steals“, who promises his little partner that he will bring St Nicholas - a traditional figure of Czech Advent - to the hospital room. He fails to keep this promise, his efforts being thwarted several times by the pedantic head nurse, who is called the Old Goat. In the course of the plot, the strained relationships between the three adults - the alcoholic Dr. Koníček, the head nurse and the young nurse Pipka - are revealed, all burdened with various resentments, false illusions and disappointed hopes. Despite all the conflicts, and as if by a miracle, there is a kind moment of extraordinary emotional understanding at the end, and Nicholas finally appears in the hospital.

Fairy tale based on J. Š. Kubín tells the story of the forest fairy Milena, who is punished by the Queen of the Fairies for loving King Silventus and giving birth to her son Václav. Milena becomes a green light, and little Václav is first taken in by his foster parents, then into the king's service, unaware that the king himself is his father.

Marushka begs, but her crying is in vain, neither her stepmother nor Holena shrinks from her and the girl is driven away to the snow-covered mountains where freezing January reigns. Who doesn't know the fairy tale by Božena Němcová about the good Maruška and the twelve magical brothers who knew well who deserved their help! There is no doubt that Marushka and her Hansel and Gretel will find their happiness in the end.

A young and sympathetic teacher joins the music school. He leads the school orchestra and also teaches twelve-year-old Anezka to play the cello. The girl falls in love with him and only her grandmother, who lives alone and does not get along with Anezka's mother, her daughter-in-law, has any sympathy for her. But even she can't help Anezka overcome her first emotional turmoil, so the girl uses a little trickery to get closer to her teacher...
