Documentary about filmmaker and film lover Stig Björkman during the pandemic year of 2020 when he stay in touch with his friends over his laptop.

A film about a special friendship between the film's director Nur, who has moved from Kurdistan, and Rashan who, because of his sexual orientation, lives as a refugee in his own country. Two women from the same village who were both forced to flee but for widely different reasons.

Five friends reside in a home for injured guerrillas in Rojava, a post-war region. Portrays the hopes and dreams of the soldiers, who were once the world's heroes but are now abandoned in their fight for equality in the Middle East.
