The story of a young man who meets his own likeness and uses him to fulfill his dreams.

Salome is the daughter of the second wife of King Herod. The King is infatuated with her and, after she fails to seduce the prophet John The Baptist, she dances for the King in order to ask for his execution.

A microcosm of people lost in search of an artificial happiness, which leads them to steal and prostitute themselves for the short ecstasy of a squirt of heroin in the veins. Marco and Pina live in this world of drugs, prostitution and violence, and they must fight for their survival. One day one of their friend dies during a holdup. Marco and Pina are helpless and will do anything to escape, but fate does not want a similar world. Between bites of heroin and sidewalk they are in a deadly trance.

Rorret dates women from the audience and then kills them, taking sadistic pleasure from their expressions of terror. This film is apparently a well-filmed homage to "Peeping Tom", with nods to "Psycho" and "Strangers on a Train".

On the Apennines of Emilia in 1944 three fascists stop and seize a battered bus carrying several women, two men and a poor student named Athos, as well as the driver. The three republicans, who are collaborating with the Nazis, want to escape to Switzerland, but they begin to think that anyone who is not a fascist like them is a traitor and eventually cruelly kill all the passengers on the bus, while Athos is left naked and dying on the bank of a creek.
