An immersion into the rich landscapes of Sable Island and the life of Zoe Lucas, a naturalist and environmentalist who has lived over 40 years on this remote strip of sand.

Jules is bisexual. Ready to try his first experience with another man, he spends the evening with Samuel, a friend of a friend. Unfortunately, the impromptu arrival of Samuel’s roommates interferes with his plans. Jules must then overcome his shyness and personnel issues to show Samuel how he feels.

Tigre is an experimental film with animation applied directly onto film.

"How do we know what we know?" asks the journalist in the studio to the special correspondent in Turkey who couldn't get into the conflict zone in Syria. The news report he put together is therefore made out of amateur footage.

"Laughing fishes gave me a lift is a meditation on the time I spent in the Yukon, Canada, this winter. Every day of the three months I lived there was marked by going out onto the ice of the Yukon River and collecting sound recordings. The images followed. The film reflects on the vastness of the white expanse, the punctual yet overarching human presence in this landscape, the dialogue between a personal, physical relationship that one is bound to have by living on this land and the unfading notion of a romantic wilderness associated with it." -Alisa Vostikalp

In 2024, an extraordinary phenomenon unfolded in Illinois: the simultaneous emergence of billions of periodical cicadas—an event occurring every 221 years. Part travelogue and essay, the film chronicles the bicentennial encounter of species by following those who listen closely to the cicadas’ songs, while connecting the insect life cycle to the history of America. Through deep listening sessions, and in the quest for hearing the elusive cicada sounds, one may ask: what is an image of the future?
