La Noche Cine

A peculiar, meticulous, vocationally archeological account of the professional life of the actor, Spanish by birth, Argentinean by adoption, Narciso Ibañez Menta (1912-2004), spiritual disciple of Lon Chaney, the new man of a thousand faces, master of horror, star of Argentinean theater, cinema and television for decades.

A young man gets involved with a girl and begins an intense sexual relationship with her. A high school friend reappears in his life, and his sinister gaze begins to taint the couple's intimate life, foreshadowing a fatal outcome.

Three boys are in first grade at the same time in Argentina, France and Finland. Through the eyes of their mothers (middle-class women educated in public schools) this documentary shows the similarities and differences of schooling in the three countries. Starting from the intimate and familiar, it opens a door to reflect on the great problems of the educational system in today's world.
