However, while Cris wants Eric and Eric alone, Eric himself isn't so sure he feels exactly the same way and is both puzzled and annoyed with Cris' rather ironic jealousy. The tensions between the two take a heavy toll on Cris, leading to a suicide attempt, and as his friends watch from a distance, any number of them speculate on what's going on between Cris and Eric.

On unearthing the identity that we've buried in the efforts to level ourselves with cultures that are not our own: In the struggle to move forward, we’ve been misled into situations causing us to be pitted against one another, and ultimately we end up losing our land, our way of life, and our identity. Yet our rich and beautiful culture is still inside of us is just waiting to be heard. If only we could realize that acknowledging and learning from our roots could contribute greatly to attain true liberation and proper development as a nation.
The film is an exploration of the queer body’s struggle to attain validation and evade exploitation. In a society where queer identities have always struggled to be recognized, our bodies have often been a medium of our expression and avenue for satisfaction. However, we, as a community, have subjected ourselves as victims to a system that exploits our vulnerabilities and bodies, to the point of moral decay.
