A young man from Larvik never says no. One day he gets a magic salt grinder from a salt troll. The town's richest person steals the salt grinder, and it ends with disaster.

A personal interpretation of Norwegian history - starring a grandmother who during the Second World War loses her job ironing the King's shirts. Instead she gains access to the enemy's uniforms, and inspires her own brand of resistance fighters, the "Shirt Guerillas".

A man buys a house on a hill. A rat was there first, and proves to be unusually difficult to remove; it seems to think all the man's attempts to kill it are actually gifts. It loves the taste of the poison, thinks the trap is a sculpture, and so forth.

We are given an insight into the Danish archaeologist Charlotte Damm’s studies of a 1,300-year-old settlement site in Northern Norway. The film is part of the anthology film Danske piger viser alt.
