Munshi ji, a lover of Urdu wants his daughter to marry a person who knows Urdu. His neighbour who arranges the marriage dupes Munshi Ji who inspite of doubts at the time of the ceremony allows the marriage to be solemnised. Later, when these doubts are confirmed Munshi Ji vows to settle scores with his neighbour.

Two persons may be in the same physical environment, yet it seems that a Glass Pane - invisible but strong, and very much there separates these individuals. Almost Antonioniesque in its composition, this short film is a study of a married couple who are unable to communicate with each other.

The film is about a young boy who has just finished graduation and is waiting for the result of a competitive examination. He is quite sure about getting through the examination, but his mother generally grumbles and assumes that her son is not capable of doing anything in this world. Discouraged and fed up with all this, he goes to his college and meets his girlfriend. He does not want to lose these moments. One fine morning he is awakened by the excited voice of his mother informing him that he has been selected in the competitive examination!

The characters are a mad preacher, two drunkards, an old beggar, a little innocent boy and a withered demented woman. All of them are chasing a mirage of a supreme deity who will save them.

An old lady admitted under emergency to a hospital is required to undergo a major operation. An S.O.S call for blood is broadcast on the radio. After a period of doubt and suspense, people do come forward to donate blood and the woman is rescued.
Kaki is a 60-year-old widow who lives with her Nepali maid, Malti. The film takes place on one afternoon in their house where a flower blossoms in the balcony. Malti meets a boy (a sailor) from her hometown unexpectedly.

The dead body of an unknown person is lying on the ground. The film depicts the various reactions of people who see the dead body. An unscrupulous person collects money for his own pocket in the name of the dead person. A politician takes this opportunity to promote his election campaign. A frustrated young man takes the opportunity to criticize the government, while another young man shows off his intellectual and social superiority over others. In the motley crowd, there is only person who comes forward and seems to really have some feeling for the dead person. He bends down on the corpse and closes the hitherto open eyes of the dead man.
Sanjay and Ritu meet after two months. While Sanjay is eager to meet her, he falls short of words when they actually meet. They try to make the best use of the passing moments by making purchases and visiting restaurants but both of them realise that their relationship is a thing of the past and become conscious of the growing distance between them.

Most often there is a synchronous transition in her physical state with that of her emotional state of mind. This film poignantly depicts such a transition in a girl's life. Her changing attitudes towards her playmates, and objects around are brought out very vividly in this film.

Three siblings, brother Dinu and two sisters Anu and Buri meet on a seashore one morning after their mother's death. They reminiscence about their mother and her relentless journey in search of 'home'. Gradually as they dwell through their personal memories of 'mother' they unknowingly enter into unknown dark zones of mother and their own lives. The spirits of their ancestors too become part of their stories as the two sisters preform their memories. Dreams, fantasies, memories and reality starts to overlap to form a complex image of 'mother' in search of home.

She toils from dawn to dusk and cannot get peaceful sleep. She, therefore, wants to get rid of it. One night, she kills the child in the cradle and then, relieved of her burden, quietly sleeps on the ground.
