Due to a strike, Ravi is compelled to work full-time for the party. Shama decides to give up music reluctantly and joins Ravi.

Munshi ji, a lover of Urdu wants his daughter to marry a person who knows Urdu. His neighbour who arranges the marriage dupes Munshi Ji who inspite of doubts at the time of the ceremony allows the marriage to be solemnised. Later, when these doubts are confirmed Munshi Ji vows to settle scores with his neighbour.
The main protagonist of this film is a dreamy and innocent boy who is working as a postman. Once he goes to deliver a telegram at some wedding ceremony, he imagines himself to be the bridegroom. But in the course of time, he learns to face reality.
