In 1983, during the darkest days of Peru’s Armed Conflict with the Shining Path, masked soldiers entered Adelina’s home and took her husband away. She would never see him again. After facing silence and contempt from the Police and Army, Adelina joins forces with the many other women who have lost their husbands and children to soldiers who were supposed to protect them. Together, they will unite to demand justice.

A film inspired by the events of 1920 that brought two nations closer: Poland and Japan. Told from a 10-year-old boy’s perspective, it presents the story of orphans who lost their families and had to rush into manhood.

February 1939. Overwhelmed by the flood of Republicans fleeing Franco's dictatorship, the French government's solution consists in confining the Spanish refugees in concentration camps where they have no other choice than to build their own shelters, feed off the horses which have carried them out of their country, and die by the hundred for lack of hygiene and water... In one of these camps, two men, separated by barbwire, will become friends. One is a guard the other is Josep Bartoli (Barcelona 1910 - New York 1995), a cartoonist who fights against the Franco regime.

A major tennis tournament is about to begin, and the tension is palpable. On the court, two ball girls crouch on either side of the net. Each believes her moment has arrived. They want to be the best ball girls in the tournament's history. The ultimate ball girl championship. But when the match begins and the girls look into each other's eyes, they are surprised to discover another force beyond the net: attraction. A dynamic that begins as bitter rivalry transforms into a magnetic passion, during which the girls search for a way to escape the competition that stands in the way of their love.

In one of the last rural schools on the border between Galicia and Portugal, Mariana, a four-year-old girl, discovers the world through the stories and legends told by her teacher. As Mariana grows, these tales and the passage of time shape her view of the world, until at eighteen, she faces a crucial decision: to leave her village or remain in this borderland by her mother’s side.

Through audio recordings taken in the field and poetic moving images, the film portrays activists who use food as a tool in their anti-consumerist struggle.
