Adapted from the play "The Fifth Swan" by Paul Everac, the movie depicts the love story between Dufy, a talented ballerina but cast as an extra, and Mirea, an engineer at the height of his career. The love story between the two proves impossible because of social conventions.

This movie retells the story of a revenge that sweeps over the social and political events of the '40s. Because they sent her son to war and he never came back, his tough mother, Ecaterina Handraburu, decides to have her revenge on those who plotted to leave her heirless and grab her possessions.

The film was shot in Tudora, Botoșani County, and depicts the life of peasants under the harsh rule of the boyars. He receives commissions for large-scale cultural monuments, although he has "on file" the ballast of his children lost in the legionary adventure and continues to accept, in his entourage, a circle of sycophants from the former elite.

In the days following the turn of the guns against the Hitlerites, the unit would fight heroically, destroying German fighter planes taking off from Otopeni airport. The turn of events changed the subordinates' view of Rosu.

In a small provincial town everything goes well, apart from sports activities. The local soccer team is on the verge of relegation. But the ones responsible with the team are ready to do "everything for soccer", even match-fixing.

Film montage, commemorating the 50th anniversary of Romanian comedy, using fragments from Romanian films from 1927-1977. The connecting sequences - the conversations of cinephile travelers on their way to the film studios in Buftea - account for about 40% of the total length of the film. We are grateful to the filmmakers for the reunions with great actors who have passed away or great living actors.
