La Chambre aux fresques

Eighteen-year-old Victor loses his parents in a car accident three months before his baccalauréat. He is taken in by his godfather Michel, an enigmatic man who lives in the outbuilding of a chateau with his daughter Caroline, a young woman in her twenties.

People don't come here to be cured, but to live their last days as fully as possible. This is a palliative care unit. Every day, caregivers work together and listen to each other in order to be as close as possible to their patients. Alongside scenes depicting medicine imbued with humanism, the filmmaker's voice is heard.
