Two friends try to do the right thing. Seth and Nole's pal Ally has just died. As they sort through her things, they find a winning lottery ticket - unclaimed and for a massive sum. Legally, Ally's abusive ex-husband is entitled to the winnings but the boys decide to keep the ticket out of his hands. There's just one problem. The executor of Ally's estate is her sister, a stickler for rules.

The End is a light hearted existential horror film about Joseph, a curious school teacher and Clara, his detective friend, who believes that his history of visions may help ensnare an elusive kidnapper. Half way into his mystery, Joseph has his most explosive vision, in a twist that turns on its ear our notions of conventional narrative cinema.

Crooked mine dealer Scotty McGee lures away gold prospector Tim Kendal's wife, Olga, who married out of gold madness. Kendall gets revenge when he actually strikes gold, then later, as a member of the police force, arrests McGee and Olga as swindlers.
