Santa Fe - notes, 2017 - 2019 is a story made up of fragments of landscapes, buildings, voices and objects. It is a film built on the relationship between art and the colony, memory and threat, native peoples and silence.

A boy is summoned, through a mythical character, to the past of an oppressed people, where a logging company exploits workers and forests alike. In his particular odyssey, he will witness events that will identify him with the history of different peoples who are one.

On January 10, 1973, the most intense tornado in South American history struck the city of San Justo. While residents were taking a siesta in the intense heat, an F5 tornado on the Fujita scale devastated the town's main avenue. Forty-six years later, four women who witnessed it share their stories: Miryam lost her mother-in-law, Liliana was trapped by debris, her sister Marta was trapped by a wardrobe, both lost their parents and were orphaned, and the Chazarreta family lost a 3-year-old daughter. The result: 50 dead and more than 500 injured. However, the worst came later: dark remnants of the tornado that make them fear any storm that may unleash in San Justo, a city that lost so much and is still trying to recover. For many, the tornado never left San Justo.

A version of El Estatola del Campo's poetic Faust of the Poet (1886) integrates the major trilogy of Argentine gaucho poetry, is proposed here in a faithful version and integral.

It tells the life and work of a rebel priest in a town called Felicia, Santa Fe. He manages to build a church and a school in which he buries a letter intended for the generations of the year 2000. His constant conflict with the Santa Fe curia leads to his exile during the military coup.

The year is 1882, in the heart of the Humid Pampas. Javier Mendizábal, landowner and justice of the peace of a future colony, is cursed for murdering his Aboriginal brother to hide his maternal kinship. Denying his true past will be his worst nightmare.

In 1936, in Cayastá, Aparicio Garay, a strange inhabitant of the islands, brutally murders an 11-year-old boy, and commits an act of cannibalism following the orders of his God, “El Hora”.

The life and thought of Uruguayan educator Jesualdo Sosa, author of "Life of a Teacher," which chronicles the events of a single school year in a humble rural school in the 1930s.

Bruno is a young magician. He travels without warning to visit his sister Delfina, who, along with her partner Leonardo, is renovating an old hotel to get it up and running. The place is in chaos due to the terrible flood that affected the entire city. Living in the hotel are Rita, the former owner of the business; Quique, his brother; Catalina, their niece; and Pablo, the maintenance manager. Bruno's plans are subject to possible changes when he meets Lorena, Leonardo's sister.

"Palabras degolladas. Alfonsina Storni en Coronda" is a documentary unit that tells the story of poet Alfonsina Storni's brief stay in the city of Coronda, Santa Fe, where she studied and earned her teaching degree. The film uses this event as an excuse to recount a before and after: what Alfonsina Storni meant as a woman in the society of the time she lived in Coronda, before establishing herself as a renowned poet, and what happened after her departure. Her figure as a woman and artist. What she represents both for the people of Coronda and for Argentine society in general. It brings into play the legacy of her work, her thinking, her status as a woman, and the fact that she has influenced the inhabitants of this city to this day. It features testimonies from different perspectives: historians, intellectuals, as well as citizens of Coronda.

Proyecto Jazz is a musical documentary that deals with jazz in Santa Fe based on an assignment given to the musician Pedro Casís, to compile material of the band from the last 30 years of jazz in the capital city for the shooting of a film. To do so, Pedro enlists the help of old colleagues from the Santa Fe Jazz Ensamble, a big band founded in the early 80s. Along the way, he interacts with friends, students and alumni, trying to assemble the different generations as important pieces of the film project. Life stories, memories, performances, anecdotes, clinics and of course the music, are addressed in the documentary around the making of the film.

Huashi, a young Qom woman, is sent to the Rokshelashé palace to bring a message on behalf of her community: tired of the oppression generated by the industry, the natives demand an end to clearing and reclaim their traditional food and medicine. Her arrival at the palace will shake the world of Benedicta, a maid who grew up there since she was little, far from her origins, and will open questions about her true identity.

Amilcar Brusa, at 87, is already a boxing legend. And after more than half a century training boxers, including 14 world champions, and having lived abroad for more than twenty years, he returns to his native Santa Fe to run a gym training the next generation of athletes.

Andrés and Ana find themselves caught up in the impossibility of crossing a bridge. Isolated, they engage in a discussion that revolves around their own fears and disappointments, searching for a way to finally cross to a place that will lead them to a new destination.
